Are you new to Sønderborg Municipality? Then come to the Newcomers` Brunch on May 10th 2025 from 10.00 to 13.00.

Among others, you will have the opportunity to meet:

• The Deputy Mayor
• Other newcomers from Denmark and other countries
• Newcomer Service Sønderborg
• Various cultural and leisure institutions school
• The Citizen Service and our Danish School UCplus
• Village ambassadors and volunteers

The event is free of charge and will primarily be held in English. There are only limited seats available.

The preliminary program looks like this:

10.00-10.10 The doors will open

10.10-10.20 Deputy Mayor welcomes you

10.20-10.25 Presentation of the Newcomer Service in Sønderborg

10.25-10.30 Volunteers talk about their events for newcomers

10.30-11.45 Time for brunch with other newcomers and the village ambassadors

11.45-12.00 The cultural and leisure institutions present themselves – among others you can meet the municipality’s culture and leisure department, the public library, Sønderborghus and our Danish school UCplus. Our local Citizen Service will also attend the event.

12.00-13.00 Culture and leisure booths are open

13.00           Closing
