Pelle's Party
For the third time, Trine Gadeberg is going on a nationwide tour in the guise of her beloved 5 ½ year old little boy, Pelle.
Since 2017, Pelle has been a bit of a phenomenon on the Danish comedy scene with millions of views on social media, which at times became so overheated over the satirical figure that Google itself tried to shut him up.
But from children and drunk people, you know...
At the previous shows, over 55.000 people have secured tickets, so there should be enough chairs set out this time when the doors open to Pelles Fest.
Together with new and old characters, Pelle takes the pulse of the Danes' party habits, which are known to be easy to find on any given occasion. For the Danes, most things can be celebrated with beer, hygge, food, dance and music, but not everyone experiences the party from a child's perspective. And it is from there that Pelle looks on in wonder, while the adults let go of their inhibitions and party hard to forget all about dental bills, ingrown toenails and municipal elections for a while.
No one is spared, but everyone is hugged when Trine pulls the red/blue hat down over her ears and lets Pelle have the floor.
Welcome to Pelle's Party!
