Tour of the princely tomb chapel

Behind the castle church at Sonderborg Castle lies a princely burial chapel, where 46 dukes, duchesses, princes and princesses are buried in five rooms. The chapel is closed to the public on a daily basis, and is only open for these guided tours.

You will be told a story about a number of the exciting people who are buried in the chapel, and you will be told about the decoration and inscriptions of various coffins.

The tours are led by the head of the History unit at Museum Sønderjylland, Dr. phil. Carsten Porskrog Rasmussen.

There are 20 seats per tour.
