Culture and Sports Night: DGI Area

For the Culture and Sports Night on September 4th, DGI Sønderjylland, together with a number of local sports associations, invites you to an active DGI area where children, young people and adults can join in.

You can experience great performances, meet the local associations and, not least, try your hand at various activities. The associations will be on hand all evening. 

 17.30–18.00– Line dancing with Sonderborg Line Dancers
 18.00–18.30 – Taekwondo at Chung Un
 18.30–19.00 – Line dancing with Sonderborg Line Dancers
 19:00–19:30 – Sonderborg Basketball Club Spirillen plays with local politicians
 19.15–19.45 – Gymnastics at DGI Sønderjylland regional team
 20.30–21.00 – Sonderborg Rugby Wheelers play with local politicians

Throughout the evening you can see, experience and meet:

 Tennis – play over mini nets with foam balls together with Sonderborg Tennis Club
 Basketball – try your hand at Sonderborg Basketball Club Spirillen
 Wheelchair rugby – experience the sport with Sonderborg Rugby Wheelers
 Taekwondo – meet Chung Un
 First aid - learn more with DGI Sønderjylland
 Line dancing – watch the show and dance yourself
 Gymnastics – experience DGI Sønderjylland's regional team

In addition, Sonderborg Municipality is also represented by the project manager for the DGI National Convention 2029. Come by and hear more about the planning ahead for the big national convention in Sonderborg.
