IT'S FOR ADULTS: BEERS + PICTURE TALK

Come along. Beer + Picture Talk at Augustiana 26.03.2026 at 19.30-20.30 – an informal, cozy and thought-provoking little Friday, where we open a hand beer and explore contemporary art together.

Based on the current exhibition at Augustiana, we invite you to an open and lively conversation about the artworks. There are no right or wrong answers here – only sharp observations, odd angles, good laughs and room to wonder.

We work with the method Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) – a simple but surprisingly effective way to talk about art, which strengthens:

The ability to see details that you would otherwise overlook
The desire to listen and build on the perspectives of others
Critical and creative thinking
The courage to say: “I see something completely different…”

It requires neither an overview of art history nor clever preparations. Only curiosity – and perhaps a thirst for both a beer and a good conversation.

The event is for adults who want to look, think, talk and perhaps go home with a little more on their hearts and minds than when they came.

Price: 20 DKK including a hand beer
Duration: Approximately 1 hour. The art gallery is open from 19-21 p.m.
