IT'S FOR CHILDREN: BOOM + PICTURE TALK

Come along. Boom + Picture Talk at Augustiana – a cozy and fun time where we serve boom (South Jutland for sweets) and explore contemporary art with the children.

Based on the current exhibition at Augustiana, we invite children and their adults into an open conversation about the artworks. There are no right or wrong answers here – only good observations, wild ideas and room to wonder.

We work with the method Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS), which is a recognized conversation method developed to strengthen children's:

Ability to observe and immerse oneself
Linguistic skills
Critical and creative thinking
Courage to express one's own thoughts

The event is for children who want to look, think, talk and perhaps learn a little more about both art – and each other.

It costs 20 DKK to participate per child. Adults have free admission. The event lasts approximately one hour.
