SDB:DOX – Brand new documentaries in a cozy setting

Sonderborg is the local host of Denmark's largest and most prestigious documentary film festival, CPH:DOX. Here it is of course called SDB:DOX and takes place from March 10th to 19th, 2026 in Gråsten, Augustenborg, Nordborg and Sonderborg.

During the festival you have access to immersive film experiences, where new Danish and international documentaries focus on what is happening.

Admission to all films is free and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

In 2026, the following organizers are on board: Museum South Jutland at Sonderborg Castle, the Sonderborg Library in the Multicultural House and Nordborg Library, The Board Game Cafe Æ Bræt, The South Jutland Singing Center at Sonderborg Barracks, Culture in Gråsten in the BHJ Hall in Ahlmannsparken, Augustiana as well as Alsion Concert Hall in Cafe Alsion.
