The best way to kick off the summer is to sit in the Danish summer sun with family and friends while dancers from the Royal Danish Ballet perform live. The Royal Danish Summer Ballet has been around since 2006 and every year draws thousands of audiences out into the summer weather to see ballet under the open sky. Everywhere – from castles, parks, harbors and museums – audiences have been thrilled by this special experience.

Practical information
Arrive in good time.
Several thousand guests are expected, so the organizers encourage you to arrive early to find a good spot. If you live in the area, it is recommended to take a bike or walk, as it eases traffic and provides a better experience for everyone.
Parking
If you come by car, there are a limited number of spaces on Palævej and Prins Emils Vej, and otherwise there are parking spaces at Augustenborg Hallerne.
Place
The area closest to the stage is reserved for the audience, who sit directly on the ground – the so-called carpet area. Behind there is space for chairs and tables, so bring what suits your comfort. From 5:30 PM you can experience the dancers warming up on stage, and remember to dress comfortably – it can get chilly later in the evening.
